Howdy!!
I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter weekend. I hope you had time to relax, rest up, and refresh. I hope that you had the chance to be with friends and family and that each moment was spent joyfully. My weekend was great. Busy because we had to drive back for Monday classes, but it was great being with my family again.

I could NOT let it get away from me, so I (as the totally broke college kid) bought it. Sunday, after sunrise church service, in enlisted my lovely aunt to help make the dress.
It's a really simple dress to make, and I bought it knowing that, so we sewed the fabric into a tube (as a halter dress).
I don't know if you know this, but I'm pretty short, only 5'3", so the dress had over 6 and a half inches of dress after my feet… so I had to do some serious hemming. We took off ALL of the lime green at the bottom of the fabric. My sister, Anna, then stepped in to help. You see, I had to leave by 3:30, and, just between you and I, she is a lot faster sewer than I am. So she graciously sewed 17" straps from the green edges. I had to finish sewing them on in the truck as Zach and I were driving back to school, but it all worked out really well.

What a great start to spring! Do you do anything to start off your summer? Happy spring!!
